Punch of pink.

The days here in Oregon have been gray and rainy and I really needed something happy, so I made a trip to the wholesaler and picked up some pretty flowers to arrange. It's not very often that I buy flowers just for fun, so this was a treat.

The Camelias are finally starting to bloom, so I was able to forage some to use in here. I love that they're one of the first Spring flower to bloom after winter, because they're so bright and happy, when it's mostly still cloudy and gray, til about June.

The recipe for this beautiful arrangement is:
Camelias, stock, anemones, spray roses and pierus Japonica.

I used no greenery whatsoever and I don't think it really needed any. The big, lush leaves from the Camelia did a beautiful job of naturally adding the greenery.
But even though the Camelia is absolutely stunning, those Anemone's are stealing the show, with their dark centers. I've only purchased them one other time and they never opened, so I have't purchased any since, until now and now they are full blown open and I can't stop admiring them!!!

The arrangement is now sitting in my living room and it makes me so happy every time I walk by it.

Okay, promise this is the last close up. But man, just look at it!!! #hearteyes

If this doesn't make you happy, I don't know what does!

I know some could care less about fresh flowers, but they are such a spirit lifter for me and a great way to add something live to your home, to make it feel inviting and cozy.

I hope you enjoyed drooling over these as much as I did. I'll be sharing more arrangements and all things flowers as soon as I can. I'm anxiously awaiting for my flower garden to wake up from winter hibernation so I can start using them in bouquets.

I hope you enjoy your week, friends!!!
